Signature Audio Partners with the 2009 NYC Peace Project
Signature Audio is pleased to announce its participation in the
2009 NYC Peace Project, a service
learning initiative that connects students to each other and the world. The
star-studded kick-off event will happen on April 3rd, 2009 in Central Park, New
York City with celebrity presenters including renowned worldwide peace activists
and artists such as Yoko Ono, Todd Parr, and Matt Watroba.
“We’ve always strongly supported the goals of nonprofit organizations such as
Amnesty International and the United Nations Children’s Fund,” says Sam Walton,
senior manager at Signature Audio. “We welcome any opportunity to use our
company’s resources to further the message of peace and help increase public
awareness of the global problems that need to be solved.”
Signature Audio will provide on-site logistics, planning support, and production
equipment to assure this year’s event runs smoothly. “The organizing committee
is thrilled to be able to focus on long and short-term project goals, instead of
fretting over the inherent difficulties of planning and coordinating such a
large-scale event,” says Seth Grass, production manager at Signature Audio. “It
helps to have the support of an organization like ours that knows how to handle
the details.”
