Signature Audio Employs RF Wireless Technician

Early 2009 was a tumultuous time for most businesses, but sound companies took it a bit harder than most. The FCC substantially changed controversial regulations, and the US government overhauled policies that adversely affected the live sound industry. However, while most audio companies were fretting over the US government’s recent decision to open white spaces to unlicensed devices, Signature Audio was busy keeping themselves ahead of the curve.

Earlier this year, Signature Audio employee Seth Grass became the first RF wireless certified technician in the Metro Detroit Area. “We’ve always relied on our staff’s in-depth knowledge of current technology to give us an edge on our competitors, and we accomplish that by continuously investing in their training and education,” said Sam Walton, senior manager at Signature Audio.

Seth Grass, who recently completed his RF training, was immediately able to apply the knowledge through troubleshooting and designing wireless systems. “I am amazed at how many people have wireless microphone difficulties due to a lack of the basic fundamentals of RF principles. They treat it like black magic, but it doesn’t have to be confusing. With a solid background and understanding of the principles at work, I’ve been able to provide lasting solutions for so many frustrated clients.”
